IMPORT UPDATE
The Gold Coast Blue Tongues regretfully announce that due to unforeseen circumstances import forward Danny Stewart will not be making the trip to Australia and joining the Blue Tongues this season. Within the coming weeks, the team will advise of Stewart’s replacement. Those vying for the import spot include former Sarnia Sting and Soo Greyhound Reg Thomas, Erie Otter Chris Martin and Canadian University Players Chris Kerr and Jordon Ross (who also represented McGill University in Montreal in Gridiron).
While the loss of Stewart is a disappointment, the Blue Tongues still have a strong important contingent including former Tampa Bay Lightening Gaeten Royer and finnish goaltender Simo Mustonen.
