We asked fans of the team to pose questions to Gaetan.
Q. Since you're going to the Gold Coast what things other than hockey would you like to check out? ie. theme parks, beaches, etc.
A. Soon as I there, teamates and fans will tell me what is the big attractions are in Australia. I intend to see as much as possible but I already want to see the big Zoo and the rock that everybody is talking about. I'm open to every opportunity.
Q. What's it like playing at the NHL level?
A. It was a great experience. I did not play a lot of games but having been there, I have no doubt that I could of played for a longer time in the NHL
Q. Do you keep in touch with any people from the Pro days?
A. Not a whole lot, we all have our own lives but a few of them did become good friend. My best friend is Gregor Baumgartner who is playing in Austria now/ We played together in Kalamazoo and Pensacola.
Q. What was it like playing in the LNAH? Is it as crazy as we keep hearing? Brawls, fans, cheap shots etc.
A. It is for sure the toughest league in the world. One game we had 19 fights. It is a league for grown men.
Q. Are you related to the Royer who threw the pucks into the stands? What were his thoughts on that?
A. He is my brother. I know it looks bad but if everybody knew what had happened before. Don't expect me to be doing this though.
